We had so much fun at Autumn Fest this year. Thomas has a lot of fun playing with all of his friends and playing on all of the moon walks. In inspect you forgot he was Superman. My friend Ina’s oldest son. Matthew and his friend Jake went as nerds.  I thought that they pulled this off perfectly. Her daughter went as Ariel.  Since she wouldn’t feature a wig and Ina couldn’t find the spray on color she ended up doing a temporary dye.  Her hair is still pink!! This shot is for my dad.  I figure that this will make him smile.  Thomas was big enough this year to go across the stage by himself.  Shae who is in the background has just asked to see his muscles.  So his is flexing them.  I am starting to think more and more that we have a performer on our hands. Here are some random pics of Thomas enjoying all of the fun activities.

As I look at the leaves on the trees and then after a act on the ground. I think of them becoming part of the cover that ordain create new alter for next year’s growth. And in this how we humans are presented with the harvest of our year’s endeavors that becomes the “cover” for next year’s beginnings. In the telling. I wonder how I could possibly write a seasonal newsletter before the flavor of that toughen is revealed to me. I wonder how magazines are able to be written before a month or quarter is truly upon us. Is it done a year ahead? And if so how can this moment be captured before it occurs? I’ve mentioned it before and query if you’ve also noticed that you cannot project how you ordain feel or the insights you will undergo in the future based on your show vantage inform. Looking at the leaves and trees and translating them to us how do we experience what this year’s nakedness will feel desire until the cloak we’ve worn is dropped to reveal the essence of ourselves? I am not the same person I was last fall. My reactions this year are quite different from last. We tend to jump too far ahead - to be too much explained before it’s measure. So the message of autumn is beauty and exquisite color followed by necessary shedding and the cleaning up process to remove the remnants of our activities…the leavings. From this we move to winter and pondering…to the barren external landscape that offers room for inner reflection. No more are we dazzled by the leaves or the colors or the changing weather. There ordain be no visual distraction.

I like this time of year leaves falling from trees fold frosty mornings and lovely early sunsets. For some reason. I bring home the bacon to sight more time for crafty activities in the autumn and winter. I've just finished my apron for and hope to affix it shortly. This is another bring home the bacon in progress: a knitted patchwork blanket from Woman's Weekly's Knitting & go across fasten Special magazine 2000. In fact it is the simplest idea - 4 inch squares knitting on the diagonal with a single bold unifying colour - the rest of the act upon plot can be pot luck (desire exploit) or you could plan it geometrically to create a repeating pattern. My main act upon (as in the original pattern) is dark color/navy but I bet it would look lovely in pastel colours too. I've knitted about 30 squares so far - the pattern suggests 9 squares for a cushion adjoin. 24 for a cot cover. 36 for a throw but I'm aiming for 60 to make it single bedspread size (though I may keep going for the double!). I keep a few scraps of wool and needles with me wherever I go and can dash off a few rows if I've got a few minutes to fill. For the first measure yesterday I tried knitting using dpns but I was an utter failure and had to give up after about two hours. My daughter wants some fingerless gloves but I can't get the hang of the technique. I will try again but I evaluate I'll start on something simpler first. I really like your blanket knitting. I desire the idea of having one dominant act upon to tie it all together and you can use up even really small quantities of wool (that I always keep and then don't experience what to do with). Middle aged rabbit owning care of two adult children. I love knitting reading gardening. I cycle and recycle and I'm doing my best to reduce my impact on the environment
