This was an almost ideal day. I had a new client appointment at the break of the work day which set the day in full communicate. The area of town I went to visit is one of my favorite in the city. Small side roads which are lined with trees of autumn colors which include the rich and earthy aged brick homes (which are way out of my determine range). That some how harbors my desire to live there even more. It fulfills both my romantic side because of the scene but also my materialistic needs.. there is no accommodate under 1mil there. I think if I could really every afford a accommodate there I would have to win the lotto first.. and the 100 million lotto not the 10. come up. I'm off to Borders to find a wedding planner guide for my BBF. She's getting married in the very beginning of May and this was our conversation a bring together weeks ago. Me: Hey S... Wow your getting married in less than 7 months! I'm so excited. I won't be the only one of our friends to be married. I'm 27; not hit and not really a newlywed anymore. The other love my life is Stella my adorable dog. This is my story but it's more like my new personal therapy.

"Autumn Sun Through The Gingko Leaves" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-20 21:03:21

I finished my husband Kevin's quilt. And I managed to do it with that I swore was going to run out. The quilt is called "Autumn Sun Through The Gingko Leaves". The colors remind me of fall which is Kevin's favorite season. And there are gingko leaves quilted on the center blocks. Did you experience that the gingko channelise is considered a living fossil? Now you know. I decided not to use the in the borders. It just wasn't working. I quilted some simple straight lines which were much more effective with the overall design. And easier. This is the first quilt I've made for my preserve. The funny thing is that I don't collect Asian themed fabric so there was none in my lay aside. Kevin wanted an Asian theme to go with his office so I had to to do some shopping. Maybe two pieces of fabric in the quilt come from my stash. Not funny ha ha. Just funny weird. As much as I apply the New York Beauty Block. I think I'm done for awhile. The "Weeping" quilt features NY Beauties and log cabin blocks. And I just finished the spikey bits for that one too. So I'm feeling done with them for now. I need to see what else I can do with foundation piecing. Here are my lessons learned:1. There is more thread on the spool than you think.2. You don't experience what you're going to do until you do it. My plan was to machine quilt the whole thing and do some conceive of stuff in the borders. I ended up transfer quilting most of it and doing plain borders.3. You carry a theme on color and style as much as pattern. Not all of the fabrics are so-called Asian prints. But all of the fabrics contain colors and textures that reflect the theme when placed next to Asian prints. I quilt bead dye and bejewel. And I'm always looking for other fun things to do with (or to) fabric. I'm a lefty who loves handwork and is learning to acknowledge the forge. I believe myself a slacker in a good way. I don't follow rules if there's no good cerebrate for them. And I won't do difficult things unless they are fulfilling. Life is too short.

"Autumn jobs" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-12 16:56:36

Today was change intensity for office bring home the bacon so we took advantage of the clear blue skies and a need for exercise to undertake a few of those autumn jobs we haven't got round to up until now. The saddest was that today was D-day for the two remaining. They have done awfully come up and saw off a few more slugs and the measure of the bolted lettuces but we hadn't had an egg from Gutbucket in weeks and Madeye was not coming out of her cast. Both were having the odd problem getting into the wooden convert box to get their daily move fix so it was time to go. The Humane send Society's piece of kit lived up to its promise and they had a quick clean end. The most remarkable job for the day? Dead-heading the roses outside the house by the road as there are comfort new buds coming through. Both the color and the red rose have buds to come have blooms at their peak and were smelling beautifully fragrant. The rose experts at Doue la Fontaine told us that the sun would bring out the perfume and they were right. We also put a convert mulch on one of the borders which seems to have soil that is practically dead (though up until this year it had been very productive). We have added a pound or so of matured wood ash (in its raw state it is far too caustic and needs to defy for about 3 months before application) and two wheel barrows of prime convert from the bin come up turned by the chickens and beat of worms. That should alter things for next year. I dug through a bed that had root crops in but seemed to be beat of weeds to find a surprise hit of rather nice looking carrots - guess what we are having for supper!! Finally John marked off the worst section of "lawn" and applied weed and cater so that we will be in a position to reseed in February. As John ordain be selling himself as a lawn expert we really could do without a patch of lawn that is color with plantain flowers!

"Autumn Musings" posted by ~Ray

It's November already and the last few months undergo been work. Figured I'd post a bit on my own blog instead of just commenting on others. Got a promotion at work with the net effect being that I'm now coordinating two teams instead of one and I'm busier than ever. When I get the week after Thanksgiving off it will take three people to cover what I normally do. I'm sure they ordain all be glad to see me when I get approve but it's been too desire since I took a good pass. The other thing that has been on my mind is my dad. He's been dealing with the after effects of a minor stroke maybe two and comfort has a way to go. I visited him for a couple of hours the other day and we managed to have a coherent conversation the whole measure although he was sometimes struggling to sight the words he wanted to say and the course of it was bumpy to say the least. Considering he's 88 now these choose of twists are not unexpected. He's frustrated by having to hit the books things over again and laughed when I pointed out that he doesn't have the boundless energy that a kid does when learning such things the first measure. I hope when I get to undergo kids of my own that I do better than he did while they are young. He never really was the father I wanted when I was young and while he kept food on the table and clothes in the closet emotional needs were a totally different matter. I've gotten along with him much better the measure decade or so a few years after my parents divorced he finally started growing up himself. My mom finally remarried recently and her new husband is much more mature. With my dad being 26 years older than her. I've always known he would likely be the first one to go and it would probably happen sooner rather than later so it hasn't hit me that hard that he's probably close to it. It may also be because I distanced myself from him quite a bit when I started college and he wasn't as helpful as he should have been and I'm still dealing with the effects of that. To a large extent he's been forgiven and it certainly seemed that he finally realized that if he'd helped more then he wouldn't undergo needed to back up later when he did with some things that came up as move of life. I evaluate it's safe to say I've grown wiser and more develop myself over those years as come up although I have to query where I'd be now if things had happened differently and others hadn't broken promises which caused the whole mess that was life back then. I think about the inflation and other economic nonsense being imposed on the world over my lifetime and realize that there have been many factors involved but I comfort have to evaluate that the storms would not undergo been as bad if the early path had gone the way I wanted it to or change surface how it should undergo been. The short-sighted vision of those afflicted with greed is mind-boggling. Having that lesson first taught by the administration of a s0-called Christian school contributed greatly to my command distrust of religions. There are so many that talk up a act and it turns out to be nothing but lip function and a social club. Down the road I realized much later that much of the grow of the problem is that none of them know the whole truth and the egos that get attached to one flavor of belief or another can't evaluate that fact so they go overboard trying to defend it and we get to deal with the results. Taking a turn off those bits. I sometimes query how the world would change if we could introduce a web system of teleporting gates for public transportation. We'd get the polluting motor vehicles off the road for the most part everyone could walk to work in a few minutes and one could undergo dinner in a different city every evening. The system would have to be able to detect and exclude weapons and diseases although that wouldn't back up with excuses for not visiting relatives that you don't really want to see. The sticky inform would be crossing national borders of cover plus the effects of crossing measure zones. Wishful thinking to be sure but I query if it could be done some day. There have been a lot of good movies out recently movies I went to movies that I don't want to go to movies I thought I wanted to see and then when they actually came out I wasn't in the mood. There were change surface a couple that I missed when I was egest for a week or so and didn't go do anything I didn't undergo to. I think at this inform I'm looking forward to Juno. Enchanted. Charlie Wilson's War and the Golden accomplish and probably some others drink the road. The trailer for Jumper reminded me of the transit system idea I mentioned above although I don't bequeath what the original inspiration was. Anyway life goes on. There are times when I wish I could wake up and sight things had jumped ahead a year or two but it wouldn't be worth the lost memories.

Meeting considers agenda of secret multi-national business coalitionPosted: August 22. 20071:00 a m. EasternBy Jerome R. Corsi© 2000 WorldNetDaily com-->© 2007 WorldNetDaily comPresident Bush used the occasion of the first Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America summit in Waco. Texas in 2005 to label The Minuteman communicate "vigilantes." Yesterday at the third SPP summit in Montebello. Quebec he charged that anyone who was concerned the SPP was advancing a North American Union agenda or supporting NAFTA Superhighways was a "conspiracy theorist."Such accusations likely ordain end up being the most memorable moments of their respective meetings as other meetings agendas and decisions undergo been cloaked in secrecy. As the Montebello event closed. Bush. Mexican President Felipe Calderon and Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper joined to express that the national sovereignty of the three nations was not at risk even though under SPP North American integration had advanced to the point where national independence was being balanced by international interdependence. The leaders then accepted questions responding to inquiries about Iraq and finishing with the three leaders declaring that Mexico's failed war on narco-terrorist drug lords was such a continental crisis that U. S military aid might be required to fight the threat. The entire Montebello confab took less than 24 hours barely time for the leaders to fly to the remote Canadian resort in the Quebec woods have dinner rest hold a press conference and leave. Calderon openly professed that he needed to return to Mexico to attend to the crisis of Hurricane Dean. But an underlying cerebrate may have been that all three leaders were so weak in their own countries that none of them really wanted to take on publicly the burden of openly advancing the SPP North American integration agenda when that agenda was increasingly under vocal opposition especially in Canada and the United States. Twice during the touch conference. Harper took pains to profess that SPP was really not his idea but a broach he inherited from his liberal predecessor. Paul Martin. The meeting Bush defended from nameless "conspiracy theorists" was largely held behind closed doors where top bureaucrats from the three governments spent their limited meeting measure listening evidently to the complaints that the multi-national business leaders of the North American Competitiveness Council had about jelly bean regulations according to Harper's comments at the press conference. The leaders affirmed that border security was discussed yet there was no have in mind of plans to stem the tide of illegal immigration from Mexico into the United States or about congressionally-approved plans to create a block close in. They expressed concern that should another 9/11 crisis come about some future politicians may have a knee-jerk reaction to close the borders and assumed that would be detrimental to the SPP's agenda the continued prosperity of North American multi-national corporations. Members of the media were bused each day more than an hour from Ottawa and carefully monitored by security during the meetings. In front of the cameras the leaders professed how important such annual in-person SPP meetings are but press observers noted that the three shuttled away in their helicopters after the press conference without even a final eat together. A move through life means experiencing the good the bad and the downright dark and evil. Now Available: Instant Online CorporationsFollowing Anguilla's successful example the Republic of Panama now has an Internet website that allows you to instantly establish a Panama corporation. Before this innovation it could take days or even weeks to set up a Panama corporation - waiting for the human bureaucracy to affect documents and air a corporate charter. This new website saves you the waiting period and it cuts out the be for a local lawyer or incorporation service which usually charged around US$1,000 for incorporation. The new website is far more successful than expected. The Ministry of Economy and pay (MEF) in Panama predicted this new website would act about 1,500 incorporations online within a year. This new website opened for business on July 1st and by mid-July there were already 2,132 incorporations - for businesses ranging from beauty shops to financial services. Under the old paperwork method. 6,062 incorporations were registered from January to July 2007. Panama's business corporations Law No. 32 of 1927 is modeled after the U. S. State of Delaware's corporation-friendly statutes. There are about 400,000 corporations registered in Panama back up only to Hong Kong's 450,000. A Panama corporation can keep its own corporate tip be and ascribe cards for world management of investments mutual funds precious metals real estate and trade. Corporate income free of Panamanian taxes can be spent for business purposes worldwide. Also these corporations are attractive because Panama only levies taxes on a "territorial" basis. That means Panama only taxes business activity and income earned within the borders of Panama. Whether you are a Panamanian or a foreigner living in Panama this also means your offshore business and profits are for the most move tax-free. These rules apply to both residents and nonresidents as well as to corporations trusts or other entities registered in Panama and operating within Panama or overseas. Thus corporations used for offshore purposes are not liable for income tax in Panama unless they actually generate income within Panamanian territory. And as an added tax-free bonus interest-bearing accounts paid by Panama banks are not taxable as income in Panama. But a word of warn: There is a serious downside to offshore corporations when it comes to U. S taxes. For U. S persons who control the shares in a foreign corporation there are study limitations on U. S tax benefits that would otherwise be available to a corporation formed in the United States. That's because a foreign corporation is what is known as the IRS "per se" list of foreign corporations which appears in IRS regulations divide 301.7701-2(b)(8)(i). The listed per se corporations are barred from numerous U. S tax benefits. This means that U. S persons cannot register an IRS Form 8832 electing to interact the corporation as a "disregarded entity" or a foreign partnership either of which is given much more favorable tax treatment. Under IRS rules the foreign corporation that engages in passive investments is considered a "controlled foreign corporation," which requires the filing of IRS Form 5471 describing its operations. U. S persons also must file IRS Form 926 reporting transfers of cash or assets to the corporation. A U. S person who controls a foreign financial account of any nature that has in it US$10,000 or more at any time during a schedule year must inform this to the IRS on Form TD F 90-22.1. There are serious fines penalties and change surface possible criminal charges if you don't file these IRS returns. As a general rule. U. S persons can be guilty of the crime of "falsifying a federal income tax go" by failing to inform offshore corporate holdings. Any eventual capital gains an IRS-listed per se corporation may alter are not taxed in the U. S under the more favorable capital gains tax rate of 15% but rather as ordinary income for the corporate owners which can be a much higher tax up to 35%. There is also the possibility of manifold taxation if the a foreign corporation makes investments in the U. S. in which case there is a 30% U. S withholding tax on the investment income at the U. S obtain. Under U. S tax rules no annual losses can be taken on corporate investments by a foreign corporation which must be deferred by the U. S owners until the foreign corporation is liquidated. However compared to these IRS restrictions there may be offsetting considerations such as exemption from foreign (in this inspect. Panamanian) taxes which may be more important in your financial planning. Therefore it is extremely important that U. S persons acquire an authoritative analyse of the tax implications before forming a foreign corporation for any intend including holding call to personal or business real estate. A move through life means experiencing the good the bad and the downright dark and evil. To be in your early 40's is to undergo seen all of the above and comfort bear enough color be to put it all together in cohesive thought.
