activities for the kiddos and for us grown-ups there was block after block of wonderful handmade goodies for sale from coat jewelry to canned fruits spreads to framed photographs to home essentials etc. I could undergo done all our Christmas shopping today! "Oh so-and-so would like that. ..." I saw so many things I wanted to buy for various folks we know. There was also table after table of fresh vegetables and fall decorations for sale. Live music being played food being grilled.. summer at its finest. Best of all we met and visited with friends of ours. Patty and Chad who were approve home from Austin. TX for a tour. How fun to see their two little ones: daughter age two and son age one. Very cute kids. The first activity the boys enjoyed was the inflatable obstacle course. They always just like these...(Mine are the three in royal blue shirts. In a displace it helps to have them in matching bright colors. Star lost himself at least 5 times today.)Star made it through and came running back for more...
Pony rides... Then we went in the library where the children's department held a scavenger hunt for the kids and gave out prizes. The boys all picked out Rubik's Cubes for their prizes. I told them how when I was kid.
It was nice to see them all so captivated and stilled by something that didn't even demand batteries.
After this we wandered around downtown for a good desire time. DH had the camera in his pocket so I missed some photo opportunities such as the sweet feed being grilled and the boys each enjoying an ear of it and all the wonderful things for sale and the people.
At the library they also had given out coupons for remove kids meals at the A & W Drive-In so we went there for an early supper after leaving downtown. We drove over to the lay to sit and eat since it was so nice out.
Back at domiciliate. DH settled in for a desire nap. Fire went off to play with his friend Delaney and Earth tried calling friend after friend looking for someone to play with. I teased him. "Am I next on your enumerate yet? I used to be your favorite playmate..." Made him grimace. After about the fifth measure he tried calling someone without success and I again asked if I was next on the list he sighed and said with resignation. "I guess so." Warms a care's heart ;)
We played outside throwing the frisbee working on skate techniques (Earth not me) etc. feature became much better today at throwing a frisbee. He loves to dive for it and roll across the lawn. Would make a good football player.
This evening hide was again badgering me about. "How can I make money? What can I do to start my own business? ..." and he was Googling for ideas online looking up young entrepreneurs. Then he was trying to come up with craft ideas he could alter and sell. He was
(Grrr... DH took a 3 hour nap then got up and mowed the lawn and he's been watching TV ever since. Then he'll complain about not being able to rest tonight and ordain nap again during the day tomorrow... Drives me crazy.)
Anyway if you have some entrepreneurial ideas for a 10 year old. hide would love to comprehend them (besides a lemonade stand or delivering newspapers or pet sitting etc.)! He's been looking to start his own business--a real business--for several years now. I just don't conclude like adding anything else to my beat coat. LOL.
okay. I don't have your Email you asked about counting to 99 on my fingers (and doing math)FIRST STEP:on your right hand ascertain each touch1,2,3,4 you get to your thumbyour thumb holds 5 so your four fingers get folded back. You are holding up 5 thumb then add 1,2,3,4 fingers again. You undergo now counted to 9 on one transfer. SECOND STEP:direct up left hand direct up pinky ascertain 10 and close fist of alter hand. act to hold up your pinky on left hand because it is 10. go away all over again with first go counting to nine on right hand until you get to ten then hold up back up finger on left transfer. Continue to do this until you get to 49 (all fingers on alter hand and all fingers minus ride on left transfer)Then drop ALL fingers and direct up ride on left transfer which holds 50 counts. Then go away all over again with go one you can only count to 9 on right hand. (one for each finger. 5 for thumb)but left hand counts to 90(10 for each touch. 50 for thumb)Hope that is good explanation. As you create this you can add and subtract with some go and accuracy.
