Great People at Great Falls

My very good friends Clark and Tiffany came to Great Falls to celebrate the marriage of one of Clark's old army buddies. My other friend Perkins (who was living with me for a chunk of the summer) and I decided to fly up there and pay them a visit. We grabbed some lunch at a pizza joint and went to visit the bird pond. There were so many ducks and birds the water was murky with duck droppings! Then we grabbed some frozen yogurt and made for back for Bozeman. It is always worth the drive to see good peeps but it was exceptionally nice since it had been over a year that I had seen Clark. Great Falls, MT - Sled Gear?

I'm taking my wife and daughter+bff to Great Falls for a shopping trip next weekend. Any good places to look at some sled gear so I can keep my sanity while I'm there? You live in Calgary and your going shopping in Grt Falls? Isn't Calgary close to a million in population? You will be sadly disappointed in the shopping of anything in Great Falls. So. I look forward to a road trip with the family and hopefully they're not too disappointed. Just keeping my wife happy and looking for a little silver lining with some sled gear. We've got three sled dealers here. Yamaha,Polaris and Skidoo and there is a dealer that sells Snowhawk also. As far as shopping for the wife I don't know but my wife says she'd rather go to Calgary to shop. Ken. We were in Great Falls last week picking up summitrics used trailer he bought. Not a lot there it's a real friendly place though. Had a great time in some little town along the way having a couple of brew. If we would have stayed a little longer I could undergo been married off to some 100 year old lady.. lol

The bright red jets that Great Falls residents saw Thursday morning were indeed the Canadian Snowbirds. If you’re ever in the greater-DC area and you’re looking for some outdoor adventure you should definitely analyse out on the Potomac River. The Maryland align is part of the. The Virginia side is a national lay itself the. We started with the Olmstead Island connect a footbridge that extends across Olmstead Island taking the viewer across several breathtaking scenes of whitewater rapids and rushing waterfalls. We then braved the Billy Goat Trail divide A which the Park’s official guide describes as “Strenuous. Be prepared for this dawdle. Use cautions. It is a very physically demanding trail.” I wasn’t sure what this meant but it turns out that most of the trail leads over jagged boulders and cliffs. It’s not called the “Billy Goat” trail for nothing and it was a really exciting hike. Hiking this dawdle was probably the most fun thing we’ve done all summer. I’m sure it’s not what most people would consider “extreme sports,” but for this law student it was an extreme undergo. Afterwards we ate lunch and walked the River Trail which was an easy walk through a plant by the Potomac River. It was a very secluded dawdle and we saw lots of wildlife including ducks a (non-venomous) glide cormorants a deer huge trees a wide variety of spiders many fish and herons. This trail was a good end to our Great Falls trip since it concludes with a walk along the C&O Canal saved by from becoming a “scenic” highway and now domiciliate to bluegill turtles and other animals and plants.
