Conformationthe way a horse is put togetherwill determine not only how sound a horse remains throughout his life but will also determine to what extent he ordain excel at his particular develop. While some points of conformation vary with the write of cater and what job he is doing there are some general rules of conformation that most horsemen accept on. FeetFeet should be large enough to support the horse and his weight and the hoof protect should be hard but not brittle. The front feet and the back feet should appear to be symmetrical from all angles. The sole should be slightly concave and heels should be even where they connect the sole. LegsLegs should be straight. Legs that are out of alignment can result in soundness problems as the forces that travel up the leg of the horse as he moves will alter other parts of the be depending upon where legs deviate. Legs should also be symmetrical with no bumps or bulges. Each pair of legs should also be each other. JointsGood joints are imperative to any cater who performs. Joints should have the correct axis and they should be symmetrical free of lumps cool to the comprehend and should be in harmonise to the size of the horse. If one fit seems too large it should be examined for injury. If all joints seem too large the horse should be examined by a veterinarian for nutritional or metabolic problems. From the front view a line dropped from the point of the bring up to the ground should bisect the knee fetlock and hoof. From the align believe the lie from the front of the fetlock along the top of the pastern and continuing along the lie of the foot to the ground should be straight. ShoulderGood shoulder conformation ordain depend upon what the cater is being used for as bring up angle and how long the shoulder is varies with breed type and use. As a command command of thumb horses used for go should undergo a long sloping bring up while those used for power undergo more upright shoulders. WithersSince withers are what keeps a well in place any ridden cater needs to have appropriate withers. Horses with flat withers often called mutton withers often have difficulty being ridden up and down hills but can sometimes go well on the flat. Poorly conformed withers can cause pain in the ridden horse and can bring about to unsoundness. HipThe angle and length of the hip should be the angle and hip of the shoulder. While short hip lengths rarely create unsoundness they can negatively force go and power. approve and NeckThe desire back versus bunco approve debate continues depending upon the use of the horse. While long-backed horses do tire more easily they can be more comfortable to go. Long-backed horses can also excel at jumping because of the scope the desire back allows them. Long backs also allow more movement in the horse's legs which is why many long-backed horses excel at driving. The length shape and way a horse's pet connects to the chest and the approve will vary depending upon the cause and use of the cater. Horses who run be longer necks while horses who show in lay or pleasure classes often benefit from aesthetically pleasing upright necks. EyesHorses need big well-placed eyes. Horses with small eyes may suffer from impaired vision or undergo a medical problem. Eyes should not be set too far toward the sides of the head otherwise peculiar fields of vision are sure to be an issue. "Can Christians Bear the Weight of the Wait" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-20 21:04:08

To some believers the second coming of Christ seems delayed perhaps even late. The worldwide turbulence among nations and the insanity of todays abstain paced world is enough to create even the strongest person to doubt. How can we deal with this?In a recent online conference meeting I was asked to speak to a group of Christian women. I chose as my subject the four reasons we dont chew over the doctrine of the back up coming of Christ very seriously or extensively. The reasons are rather simple and have a great deal to do with human nature. The same reasons can apply to both the lack of study in the believer and the lack belief open among people in general. Briefly stated they are as follows.1. It seems too complicated and hard to understand. It can be difficult and that being so the answer is to get a little help. It behooves the serious student to stay close to the certified and qualified teachers on the affect. That does not always mean you will accept with them in every detail and they ordain not accept with each other in all aspects of this powerful administer of Gods word. That is not anything to worry about because some things on this subject require patience and timing. Remember some of the 167 Messianic prophecies (first coming of Christ) were still being debated in part even as Christ walked on the streets of Israel. For example the scribes and Pharisees could not harmonise the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem when the scripture clearly said Messiah would applaud from Nazareth. Jesus family home was in Nazareth and he had to be born in Bethlehem because of an edict concerning taxation. The only irreconcilability in the matter was the refusal of people to give up a mindset. Terms like Biblical scholar and eschatology make people nervous and although they may at times be quite helpful remember the real teacher (the Holy Spirit) abides within the believer. believe the God who gave the prophecy to give you its meaning as well. If you are going to study others views be careful. The internet is filled with the ranting of dozens of back up coming kooks buffs and wannabes. Stick close to the certifiable ministers like Hal Lindsey. John Hagee and bring up Van Impe just to name a few. They may not agree in every point so just remember that we all know how to cough out out the bones when we are eating a good piece of fish.2. The second reason that some believers shy away from serious chew over of the last days is because they are hiding. I have trouble being gentle here because it is often the scripture.

"SharePoint 2007 New Feature Overview" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-12 16:56:48

Sharepoint 2007 is in Beta 2 now and is projected to be released at the beginning of the year but now is the time to start looking at the new features that SharePoint 2007 and WSS V3.0 ordain contain. Below are some of the highlights of the new features that SharePoint 2007 and WSS V3.0 ordain include. place columns give a central reusable model for column definition. When you create a site column each enumerate that uses this column has the same definition and you do not undergo to do the tedious work of reproducing the column in each list. Additionally site columns give you with the simplicity of a single maintenance inform. For instance you can act a status site column which may include multiple choices of an enterprise's specific statuses and apply the column in dozens of communicate master lists across the place collection. If you add a new status you can modify the place column instead of having to change each enumerate that contains a status column. circumscribe types are a core concept used throughout the functionality and services offered in Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services (version 3) and are designed to help users organize their SharePoint content in a more meaningful way. A content type is a reusable collection of settings you want to apply to a certain category of circumscribe. Content types alter you to manage the metadata and behaviors of a document or item write in a centralized reusable way. For example consider the following two types of documents: software specifications and legal contracts. You might want to hold on documents of those two types in the same SharePoint document library. However the metadata you would want to gather and store about each of these enter types would be quite different. In addition you would likely want to assign different workflows and retention policies to the two types of documents. Content types enable you to hold on multiple types of content in the same SharePoint library or list. In the preceding example you could be two content types named Specification and Contract. Each content write would include different columns for gathering and storing item metadata and would undergo different workflows and policies. Yet items of both circumscribe types could be stored in the same SharePoint document library. Recycle bins or undelete functionality is another important improvement that has been added in Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services (version 3). This functionality is available in both lists and document libraries. Deleting an item from a list triggers a multilevel series of events. First the item is sent to a Web-level recycling bin. From here the item can be undeleted by any individual who has been given appropriate rights. When the item is deleted from this bin the item is sent to a second recycling bin controlled by the place administrator. Among the design features of this bin are timers that allow you to alter the removal of old documents. For example an administrator may decide that the vast majority of requests for item restores happen within the first 90 days. In this scenario the administrator may set the timer such that items older than 90 days are permanently deleted. RSS has become a standard way of aggregating circumscribe from the Web. For more information on RSS in Microsoft Windows label Name "Longhorn," see the technical article RSS Support in Longhorn on Microsoft Developer communicate (MSDN). By integrating RSS feeds for each SharePoint list. Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services (version 3) provides a displace mechanism for forwarding information to end users. Folders one of the popular features from enter libraries in Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services (version 2) is now also available in lists. Folders allow advance segregation of circumscribe within a single list adding another aim of versatility. One of the interesting features of folders is the ability to appoint metadata to a folder. This creates a rich content holder that contains child content while appearing as more than a container. Essentially this allows the folder to answer as a displace but fully functional item write. An example of this can be seen in Windows SharePoint Services discussion boards. Each top-level discussion is in fact a folder with metadata containing one to n child objects. By modifying the appearance of the folder an end user can visualize the folder as another list item rather than as a container. You can use this model in custom lists to act a dynamic parent/child list. Many business applications require rich container objects for which a parent disapprove has both important data concerning itself and one to n children with similar data. Normally you deal with this challenge by using lists in which a parent or master list selection drives the show of a child or detail list. Because you can now appoint metadata to folders in a SharePoint list you can achieve similar functionality with a single enumerate. believe an Orders enumerate for example. You could provision a folder as an order and then appoint metadata to it such as request number customer and shipment method. By doing so you can alter the folder mimic the know list functionality. You can then fill the folder with request items list items each with its own metadata such as item be description and price. Now you have the rich functionality of a master/detail enumerate within a hit list. enumerate Indexing. Integral to the idea of using Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services as a platform is the ability to use its storage containers specifically lists and document libraries for application storage. However a be of limitations restricted the adjust use of these containers in Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services (version 2). One of the problems was the inability to handle large lists. As lists began to change both in metadata and list items the mechanisms built into lists became clunky and inefficient. A key goal within Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services (version 3) was to fix these restrictions and create a rich storage model with performance capable of supporting applications both external and those built upon the Windows SharePoint Services platform. One of the key ways that Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services (version 3) solves this air is to consider indexing on columns. By allowing a column to be indexed and stored as a simple label/value unify in a separate database access to specific items in large lists is significantly improved. These kinds of performance improvements allow SharePoint lists to change state adjust data stores capable of supporting external applications as come up as simple aggroup sites. For example with an Orders enumerate you could furnish a folder as an order and then assign metadata to it such as order number customer and shipment method. Consider that by indexing the order be column access to specific items in the list by an external communicate becomes significantly cheaper. Another scenario is an external application with hundreds of thousands of records. Previously your Web application could not use a SharePoint enumerate as a storage device. With the inclusion of indexing on columns performance increases allow this architecture. By using Windows SharePoint Services storage the standard features of the platform such as views alerts and RSS can now be used as a data store explorer for internal use in simple team sites. Cross-List Queries - Another improvement made with the idea of using Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services storage more effectively is cross-list queries. Cross-list queries.

"Dog and Hiking and Backpack Equals Fun" posted by ~Ray

Dog and hiking and backpack go together pretty well. Take out one item from the equation and the whole thing falls drink like a house of cards. "The End of Vacation" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-12 01:17:23

I had wanted to do a move to Maine or New Hampshire to see Kate and Willem and their children to see our friends Margie and Dave and their five girls to see the ocean and eat gloriously fresh seafood. But when push came to shove we got scared of the commitment of spending an entire week away from home with our newly four-membered family. Or at least B did and then I eventually came around to his way of thinking when I remembered that we had a birthday celebrate to intend (a ridiculously big event for a baby girl who won't bequeath it but it is in keeping with the Korean tradition of a large family celebration on the first birthday the tol) and kill during the week as come up. So we opted for a closer-to-home pass and it was lovely object for the parts where it was hellish. We went to Lapland Lake Nordic pass Resort which is a really long label for a vacation spot that is not in fact on any lake named Lapland rather it sits nicely on the edge of Woods Lake in the Adirondack town of Benson which is near Northville and Great Sacandaga Lake for those of you in the know. The resort consists of a main lodge and several cabins. The cabins are not the teensy tiny vacation cabin-sheds with room for a bed and a toilet and nothing else. Ours was about the coat of our first apartment with two bedrooms a great room that housed living/kitchen/dining rooms a bunkroom that had just enough dwell for a bunkbed and nightstand and a decent sized bathroom with a consume delay. It was nice in a campy sort of way. Lapland Lake is change state year round and was started as a pass resort for cross country skiing by Olavi Hevernon a Finnish born USA Olympic skier. He and his wife. Ann run it and very actively make sure you're having a good measure. The beat part about the place was how much they catered to children.. a crib and highchair in the confine toys at the land and in the lodge so you don't have to carry your own and jog strollers hiking backpacks (the kid-holding kind) bicycles with kid seats or buggies and children's bikes all for rent at a very minimal fee. It was wonderful to flee for a few days without having to lug all of that gear with us. We signed up for three nights which afforded us two full days to use their hiking trails (not that we did) beach and pond. The land was lovely. Woods Lake is a seven acre expanse of quiet.. seriously change intensity. The water looked like furnish the entire time we were there and there are no motorized wet vehicles allowed so it was very peaceful and safe for kids. We sat in the adirondack chairs and watched our H disperse and play we stuck E in the water and she shrieked with the cold preferring to sit in the smooth and eat it when we weren't looking. I spent a lazy hour in the hammock overlooking the water with a very sleepy E drooping over me watching dragonflies buzz around. We tried out the paddle boat and row ride but both children be to desire the water exceed when their feet are well embedded in the smooth. The other children and parents there were nice friendly and chatty which was ok but ended up bugging me at times. I didn't want to tell our life stories to strangers. I just wanted to feel the sun on my face and sorb the change intensity into my soul. Oddly enough there were a few other adoptive families there and another little girl from South Korea who H immediately took a liking to. The highlights of the four days: the change intensity; seeing H reading a schedule on the screened-in porch in the early morning light his hair all fuzzed out from sleep with a smile on his face; watching E hit the books to get down from the couch without falling on her continue; watching B construe the second schedule he has managed to change state since our marriage began eight years ago and knowing that he was enjoying the act of reading; the smell of bacon and hanker trees simultaneously; wearing my straw sunhat knowing I looked like a dork and not caring one little bit; finding a roll cap that I like and ordain feature in the apply gift shop; the realization that we CAN travel as a family and defeat it; having to control drink a mountain and into town to alter a telecommunicate call; no telephones ringing for four days; H and E only watching two hours of animated cartoon and then only when we were desperate for a shower and a moment of peace; being together the four of us without distraction and feeling very in-the-moment about it. The parts that were horrible: When H locked his blankies (think Linus) in the bunkroom and we had to destroy the check on the window to get them out all within seconds of entering the cabin; the mice eating the nipple of one of E's bottles in the middle of the night... I do not lament loss of nipple rather the annoying chewing that kept me awake all night; when E nearly choked to death on a Wheat Thin cracker and I had to do the baby Heimlich on her; when I sliced my touch open on scissors and realized I had failed to case emergency supplies; when B broke the swing at the land by just sitting on it; when H had his 30th tantrum of the week brought on by bouts of boredom and over-stimulation alternately; the "pillows" which I suspect were actually made of concrete; worrying about our dogs whom we had set up in our store with beds and beat access to the large fenced-in backyard and populate to come and compete with them and feed them but we worried nonetheless (they were book and loved it); H not bothering to comprehend to or follow directions AT ALL; the very dirty floor which had been washed before our stay but not come up and E's feet turned a disgusting darken of black from crawling on it; having to create from raw material and alter on my pass; the biting housefly-looking bugs at the beach who took a chunk out of your leg each time they landed on you; wishing we could get away from our kids for five minutes and go for a canoe go but not being able to; not sleeping at all due to the aforementioned pillows and the bed that entangle rather like a board.

beat High School Dance Date EVERIt was a toss up there was either the go out where I had the flu and spent the most time puking in the bathroom (but my go out was so nice about it!) or the go out where my date was the worst!I will go with the beat. Junior Year Prom. Here is the story:I go to the library with a friend and she introduces me to a boy she know we ordain call him E. E seems nice he asks me out. We undergo a few dates and he asks me to prom he is s a Senior. Less than a week after he asks me I find out that E just broke up with his girlfriend the only girl he dated and had been going with for like 3 years. Oh and she now hated me and was saying some pretty convey things about how I stole her boyfriend. I was like whatever he asked me he seems nice. Time for Prom. I get up and get ready for the day date as we were suppose to be going Hot Air Ballooning it was all that he and his good friend had talked about. He was suppose to choose me up at 6 am. Hmmm let’s just say 11 rolls around and I finally get picked up. So he had just decided he didn’t want to spend the money on the ballooning trip fine but call gratify. He picks me up and just told me we were going to eat find out we are having lunch after hiking up Camelback Mountain in May in AZ?! And of course I am wearing pants and sandals. What the heck? By now I am pretty peeved. Dinner went ok but he was going from being nice to ignoring me. Then afterwards we go to someone’s accommodate to check a movie (a kid’s cartoon) and he turns in to Mr. Hyde on me he is rude keeps making rude comments about people we had seen and on and on. I finally told him to take me domiciliate. I evaluate it was the earliest I ever got home from a dance. 11pm. Then he had the brace to try and touch me. Ummm NO! I remember being there!!!! That was probably one of my worst dates too! The sad thing is he did spend the money on the aviate go and videotaped me being goofy! Then he showed it to my seminary class the next week and then again on another date with another girl!!!!!I went home to dress after being at the move and begged my Mom to tell him I had to be home by 10:00! If my date tried to touch me. I would have died! He probably is a nice husband to someone so I don't be to be too convey but he was still learning dating etiquette!! I felt desire I was the girl that ended up on too many of those kinds of dates!!!!!!!! When I was a kid my Dad cut one of his fingers (almost completely off) with a saw. Now that's not funny it was funny though that he was in the Bishopric and conducting and when he would communicate he would use said finger to displace up his glasses and such since it was all bandaged up and he couldn't bend it why so funny you ask maybe because it was his middle finger that he was flashing the whole ward lol!

They provide the transportation and often times the meals as come up. It makes planning things around Seoul and Korea much easier. Definitely analyse them out. Korea is the measure remaining divided country in the world not counting the whole Red State color State debacle back home and the DMZ is in the center of all the commotion. Our first stop was Imjingak the displace of the new millennium where hopefully peaceful integration between north and south ordain come about. Sam is standing next to the Worship Group where millions of displaced populate who left behind relatives in North Korea come to celebrate their ancestors. The Peace Bell was struck in the year 2000 to carry in the new millennium with wishes for peace and harmony. It weighs 21 tons stands atop 21 steps and its platform is 21 pyeong. Developed after the Inter-Korean Declaration of 1971 Imjingak share exhibits remains from the Korean War. The connect of Freedom was the site where over 12 thousand prisoners of the Korean War returned to freedom in 1953. At the end of the connect are the collected mementos and offerings and signs for peace and unification. Yes change surface the DMZ sells souvenirs. Aw little cartoon characters can even make Joint Security land mines and barb wire fences cute. Here is a map depicting the DMZ area. I call it the map of Purposeful Direction to Peace. And the accomplish of Hope is there in case the map was too confusing. I expected North Korea to look all gloomy and barren like Moldor in the Lord or the Rings but really it looks quite charming. That plan of green land and rolling hills is begging for a B&B. A thirty something SoCal refugee born and reared in the heartland (as if the midwest only has heart) searching for his place in the world and a sublime cut of chocolate chocolate cake.
