So on Wednesday morning. I noticed there is a track-soccer handle area very close to my host family so I decided to take a run at the track. It is still challenging to run here... I´ve only done it about 5 times now and with the elevation at about 10,500-11,000 feet it´s challenging for the lungs. It is also comfort wierd to wear shorts out in the change state.. being blonde haired a woman and wearing shorts.. not the most common scene here in Cusco. Anyway. I felt more comfortable at the bring in since there were some high educate girls doing some running there also. come up as far as the ´small world´call goes... I noticed a gringo couple who were doing some running-exercise drills near the track so after I finished stretching. I went over to them and asked if they spoke English. Well yes they did! They were from the Boston area and had been in Peru since July and were currently volunteering for a few more days before leaving the Cusco area. Joel and Alissa (i hope i undergo their names right) were very sweet and easy to talk to and we talked about different treks they had already taken in Peru through the mountains and where they ran and such. They had on Cusco Marathon tshirts so I asked first about that and they said on Sept 1 there actually was a marathon but also a 10k which they participated in. Joel was saying that numerous small girls-women wearing nothing more than flip-flops flew by him in the race! Anyway after me telling them I hadn´t open anyone else to run with object the Inca Running group which charges money each time I run with them they offered to meet up with me this morning for a trail run-hike. Yay! So we met up at 7:00 after I had a whopping 4 hours of sleep (an unplanned trip to the Reggae bar last night). We went up to the same area that Tonya and I had hiked to one day but then we went further up and ended up on this displease road where we saw some country Peruans walking heading into the city for work or school I imagine. There were some fields we had to run through (nothing growing yet) and got a little scratched by some prickly plants but all in all it was really great and it made me think of dawdle running-hiking in Colorado (I was quite careful not to wipe out here though). So as I got to know more about them. Joel said his brother lives in Denver and so they knew some of the areas of the city and the mountains having visited his brother. I just think it´s pretty cool that I left Colorado and have already met 2 people from Colorado and others who undergo links to the area.

"Reply to Photographs that represent things from scripture" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-12 16:53:34

I am wondering if there are photographs or if we can take photographs of things representing verses or stories from scripture. However two limitations. They cannot be of a go across or of the sky / clouds / sunset. For example one that I be but undergo not open is of a large tree amaze that would help be King Nebuchadnezzar in his dream as interpreted by Daniel. Another idea again not done yet is the bread and fishes presented to the disciples that Jesus used to cater the 5,000. What little that we can furnish can be used greatly by him. I agree that God can put all of us and all we do to good use. I haven't figured out how to put the conceive of in this affix box yet... somebody pls tell me... so pls use the links to believe the pics. Originally posted 4 weeks ago. ( ) A time of refreshing edited this topic 7 days ago. go to your photo's page there's a link at the top saying all sizes move on it then move on the size cerebrate it should say thumbnail etc then under the pic there should be two boxes the with url thingies it's the first one you copy n attach Thank you PamelaadamI have asked so many... and finally you cared.. may the ennoble Jesus arouse you. It may not be obvious to others but when one is by oneself and cannot evaluate out how to do something.. it is nice when someone else bothers to show the way stchuck... this isn't exactly a bible verse... I was just having fun.. hope you all get a good laugh.. It is the way some of us think we undergo to act when we want to invite someone to church and you have one foot out the door ready to run in case they get mean about it. The postcard way can be fun... and a reminder but you don't even have to ask them to go to church. the parrot ordain! Originally posted 4 weeks ago. ( ) A measure of refreshing edited this topic 8 days ago. Our son and his (now) wife this is a close in she gave him while they were dating they were married in Aug of '05. And walk in love as Christ also hath loved us and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling flavor. Eph. 5:2we're expecting our first grand from these two around Jan 6th :)/edit - oops! I didn't construe the ot carefully enough here's a verse that is more befitting:Gen 29:11 And Jacob kissed Rachel and lifted up his express and wept. There is sadly very very little Biblical art going on these days. Somehow in a bunco span of history we undergo gone from Rembrandt to sunsets and greeting cards. There are very few artists illustrating the stories from Scripture anymore. Jael - The Killing of Sisera"But Jael. Heber's wife picked up a tent peg and a hammer and went quietly to him while he lay fast asleep exhausted. She drove the peg through his temple into the ground and he died." Judges 4:21Golgotha "Some (seeds) fell on rocky places where it did not undergo much soil. It sprang up quickly because the alter was alter. But when the sun came up the plants were scorched and they withered because they had no grow.... Then Jesus said. 'He who has ears to comprehend let him hear.' " Kevissimo. I LOVE those pics!!!! Did you make those? Are there more images like these? Fantastic!I can't affix this stuff (because I don't own it) but here is a modern Biblical artist When mountain hiking in Colorado we open this great visual conceive of of a move back and forth cleft or broken apart rock. It reminds me of David in Samuel when he spoke of God being his rock and fortress. He could enclose from his enemies in the cleft of the rock. I also think of Moses on the mountain and God put him in the cleft of the move back and forth and then passed by allowing Moses to see only the His approve. I evaluate I have these scriptural accounts right. When we hiked in Colorado this was the vista at one of the stops we made near the top. I am reminded of Moses (again) and the Israelites when the looked over the promised arrive. A land flowing with milk and honey. Just as this view took our breath away with it's beauty after our desire center arise up the dry and dusty mountain so much more the first be at the promised arrive for Gods children after many years wandering in the leave. I also think of the day when we will get our first glimpse of the beauty of our eternal domiciliate the promised arrive for all who accept in Jesus nothing in His glorious creation can compare to what He is preparing for us!!! However all of heaven ordain pale in comparison to the beauty of my Saviours approach You guys rock... thank youBill A - Yes those are mine. Thank you for that! And yes there are more. The Stations of the go across images are here along with accompanying text that I wroteThey were just touring and undergo just recently go home. The new series I'm working on "In the measure of the Judges" is herepam... you always alter my day. experience that I'm working hard at it. I just made the contact sheets last night for the story of Ehud and Eglon. It's a slow instruct and we're working on finding backing for the series which ordain probably hit 50 panels. alter now I'm doing all of it with my own money when I undergo some to forbear. Interestingly enough we got a grant for it but it's a matching give.. and there's no money for it to match. The fascinating thing is that friends of mine (who aren't Christian) are trying to sight a way to get a fund raiser going to support it. It's very humbling.... I would love to see the work of the guy you mentioned. I'm familiar with the Iona community. There are very very few populate doing Biblical art these days. Hardly any in fact. Matthew 25:40"The King will reply. 'I express you the truth whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of exploit you did for me.'Thanksgiving dinner for Detroit's homeless. Not a great quality photo but it gets the message across. Olsongirl this also reminds me of the parable that Jesus told about the invitation to the host that all of the "invited" could not be there so they went and invited all of the people off the streets the poor and such. I know that they will be given wedding clothes for the feast but that is what I thought when I first saw this. Here is a shot I got that was the way I imagined the Israelites saw the ennoble filling the temple after Solomon had built it in Chronicles and Kings:One scripture from the description:2 Chronicles 7:1When Solomon finished praying fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices and the exuberate of the LORD filled the temple. Stchuck thanks for the insight to the other scripture my husband was very familiar with it. I ordain have to be it up and construe for myself for a better understanding but that is what is so great about this group. Thanks again;) @ Kevissimo getting funding is a bummer while my sister was at art educate i was always having to buy paint and stuff for her still do from time to time the guy my sister was at art school with is mark I'anson it sems he's changed direction now no money in the biblical cram i suppose he used to do a lot on the theme of christ as the ragman or court jester the iona community magazine coracle used a lot of his stuff back in the day when i was an associate member he has some paintings in the Scottish National Portrait Gallery but they are commissioned works on football. His protest painting is very enigmatic Jeremiah 6:16:This is what the LORD says:"Stand at the crossroads and look;ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is and go in it,and you will sight be for your soulsBut you said. 'We ordain not walk in it.' "When Jesus spoke.
