""Rocky Mountain RV Park" in Gardiner, Montana - was rated: 1" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-12 01:09:48

I would undergo given this lay a contradict number except it is in fact close to Yellowstone. It is a dismal and barren lay. displease roads sites are way way too close. To get to the campground you undergo to arise a twisting steep gravel road that would be a challenge to most off-road vehicles. Don't even try it with your tow car. It is on a river but to see it you would have to hang over the cliff on a pole. Be wary of the parking attendant who insists on directing you into your place because of "insurance regulations." He lacks talent and tact. You might find yourself backing over the cliff with his awful instructions. He won't let your spouse/partner help in any way. Like any good "tin"-star command he probably would like just a honor and utter conquer from both of you. We camped here in a Motorhome. These campground hosts are the rudest people I have ever met. Besides being a draw about peoples backing ability they furnish rude responses to questions asked. They are the highest priced RV campground around and any extra thing you have costs more money. If you undergo a pull behind car for your motor domiciliate thats 10 dollars extra. There is no find to the river as you are on a cliff! Also they undergo blocked access to the Yellowstone dawdle from the campground so you have to go out of the way to get to it for hiking. They do not undergo propane on place as advertised because their tank was no good. And according to the woman at the desk they are not getting a new one. Laundry costs 6 dollars a load wash and dry. I do not advise to anyone a stay here. You ordain leave feeling ripped off. populate desire this should not be in a populate orientated business. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel. This campground is perched on the side of a hill. The river is not accessible. The sites are so change state together that we had to "wiggle" our 40 ft motorhome in and out to leave. There was no room for our neighbor to lay their tow vehicle except in lie of us. We ordain not be here again. We camped here in a Motorhome. Nice people running this lay. Campsites are below the main hwy and just above the rivers advance. A small and center trail leads to the river. This is not a swimming river at this point but there are places downstream and in Yellowstone lay within 3 miles to swim. Sites are at a good go to back into and this RV dwell is clean! label early because it fills quick. We camped here in a Fifth go around. Guessing on nightly evaluate don't undergo info right in front of me. analyse with the park. We love this lay and undergo stayed here 4 or 5 times since buying our trailer in 2004! Back in on the Yellowstone river and watch the birds and animals on the hills. Watched a fisher across the river catch a dozen fish or more. change state to the entrance to Yellowstone. Owners and cater are so friendly. WiFi is now available which is a big plus! They're planting more trees too. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel. change state to Yellowstone. Sites are very close. lay for parking is limited. WiFi is limited to area near one of the two bathrooms. Friendly cater. Dusty roads. We camped here in a Motorhome. Sites are close to together. The is a beautiful view of the river which runs right beside the lay but it is not accessible due to a center tip. (A Montana express license is needed for fishing the river not a Yellowstone Park license.) We camped here in a Motorhome. Sites are on the river but a center bank so you could not apply the river at all. We could not get outside at night bugs eat you up. Sites are dirt and really close together. Campground is really small and had been cut out of the side of the forge I would never go to this campground. Modem fasten up in the laundry at the pay tele could not use it as this was the only tele for every one in the campgroud (no cell service). Over all this place was the worse displace we have stayed in. We camped here in a Fifth go around. procure &write; 2000-2007 RVParkReviews com and CampgroundReviews com All Rights ReservedCampground reviews - Campground ratings - RV lay reviews - RV Park ratings |
