Nov. 6 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- AT&T Inc has announced the donation of 20,000 prepaid phone cards for distribution to military personnel stationed overseas as part of a program to act U. S. Armed Forces members and their families connected during the holiday season. So far this year. AT&T has contributed 50,000 prepaid cards valued at more than $450,000 that the USO is distributing to military personnel in November and December 2007.
Of the current 20,000 separate donation half will be distributed during USO entertainment tours at military bases slated for the weeks before Thanksgiving. The remaining half will be distributed in early December. The USO will make the phone cards available to troops who are serving in Iraq. Kuwait. Afghanistan. South Korea. lacquer and Europe. Each donated phone card will give 20 free minutes of talk measure from Iraq to the U. S.
