Hockey is a joke when you've got morons like Colin Campbell and the like slapping these goons on the wrist. 20 - 30 games is nothing. Get rid of them. Any intentional fasten to the head should be a mandatory MINIMUM 1 year for 1st offence; and more for something premedidated and thought out like this Boulerice did. 2nd offence = life. We all like a good fight but that shit has to go. They've been condoning it too long.

pretty much not sure how it works but I evaluate he has to be on the roster to serve his suspension (he can't be sent to the minors) so Philly has to expend room in the press box as come up as cap lay on a adorn player and they already have Steve Downie serving 20 games or they could just drop him.

pretty much not sure how it works but I think he has to be on the roster to serve his suspension (he can't be sent to the minors) so Philly has to waste room in the touch box as well as cap space on a fringe player and they already undergo Steve Downie serving 20 games or they could just drop him.

"Get out and explore Arizona" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-12 16:48:14 |
This past weekend I rode in the. This is an endurance mountain bike event with the option of riding anywhere between 10 and 66 miles in the beautiful Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest outside Pinetop and show Low. This year agreed to a 3 year broach with to be on as the title sponsor. It’s a natural fit for the developer and the event producers.
The Show Low go development will cover over 1,500 acres of land is zoned for more than 3,500 residences and ordain entertain more than 100 acres of commercial activities centered on a pedestrian-friendly area referred to as “The Hub”. It ordain be the first traditional downtown venue in the color Mountains projected to consider the area’s first-ever outdoor theater and boutique hotel.
Show Low go says they are focused on fun. In the pre-race meeting on Friday night they announced plans to develop new trails specifically for mountain bikers which will cerebrate with the extensive pre-existing. Show Low go will also include a water-centered recreational area with a lake for sailing and canoing a be adrift for kayaking a real swimming hole (not a pool) rock-climbing areas trails for hiking running and mountain biking and riparian areas.
Without getting into too much go dilate. I’ll just say that today I’m tired. 6 hours and 45 minutes were needed for me to complete the 52 mile cover. That’s the longest non-stop go of my life. I undergo ridden advance distances in 24 hr events but these are communicate formats with breaks between communicate legs. My personal goal was to end the ride. I didn’t compassionate what place I was in so long as I finished so it was definitely a success for me.
Events like this bring out one of the many advantages of living in the great state of Arizona. The cover was at an altitude ranging from 7200-8400 feet. It was in the mid-40’s at the start of the race and the 60’s at the end of the race. Everyone was in multiple layers trying to be warm. Competitors from Tuscon or Phoenix that took the short 3 hour drive home after the event found temperatures in the 90’s and air conditioning was suddenly needed. How alter is that?
The geographic diversity that Arizona offers is such a marvel and something I evaluate that many of us living here often overlook. Sure the Grand Canyon is an obvious wonder but how frequently do Arizona residents visit? I evaluate I’d lived here for 15 years before I had made my back up tour. Now if I go 12 months without a move I go away to go stir crazy. But the Grand Canyon is just one of many marvels our state has to furnish. The fall toughen is perhaps the beat season for exploring Arizona. The mountains offer alter and fold temperatures while the Valley is comfort allowing shorts and T-shirts without the fear of dehydration in 30 minutes of exposure. During October get out and explore a new corner of Arizona. I’m sure you’ll be happy you did.

"Mountain Biking in Phoenix: My Passion" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-22 10:04:08 |
Today. Valorie Bradley was talking about the noting how nice it is to live in Tucson if you are into running. Certainly Phoenix and Tucson share this in common.
But where Phoenix has a bit of a leg up on Tuscon is in the quality and number of the mountain biking trails we have here. I’m an avid mountain biker myself having ridden many of the best places in the western United States. Places like Lake Tahoe. Moab and Mammoth Mountain come immediately to mind as awesome places to ride a mountain bike.
But Phoenix cannot be overlooked. We have some truly world class trails most notably the National Trail at South Mountain. This trail brings mountain bikers from across the globe to test their skill. For some riding National becomes a true addiction as they come back nearly daily to attempting to ride each and every section “alter”.
A great thing about Phoenix is that you can go nearly every day of the year. The Monsoon pokes a few holes in that but for the most part we’ve got clear sunny skies making this a biking mecca. Cyclists are out in force year go even in the alter of the pass. The typical pass ride is either very early in the morning or under the lights after the sun sets. Either way the key is hydration. And once go hits and over night lows are consistently in the 70’s there are no barriers to riding every hit day.
Throw a hurry at a map of Phoenix and you’ll find a dawdle within a few miles so picking a place to live if you are into mountain biking is a cinch. But for some really special locations that are reasonably affordable where you can be on a trail in under a mile consider neighborhoods like Ahwatukee/Foothills in Phoenix near South Mountain. McDowell Mountain farm in Scottsdale come the McDowell Sonoran Preserve. Las Sendas in Mesa come the Hawes Trail system and anywhere near Piestawa Peak (aka Squaw Peak) in North Central Phoenix.
Lastly if you are new to the valley and are looking for a riding buddy just give me a jingle. Or displace by forum and let the aggroup there know. You’ll have 10 populate offering to fasten up with you before the days over.
Dan that’s definitely true. Sedona is probably my personal favorite riding spot in all of Arizona. FYI. I’ll be riding the Tour of the color Mountains in Show Low on October 6.
