The measure leaves… There undergo many pictures of autumn leaves lately – and by qualified photographers but I could not resist. So yesterday I took some pictures in what I use to call “my lay” (Square des Batignolles. Paris 17th arrdt.) some two minutes go from my flat.
It has been quite cold in Paris the measure days some +5°C (or about 40°F) during the afternoon. Even the birds must have felt a need to warm up. They had all gathered at the same sunny end of the small lake for a nice common siesta.
Some of you may remember that I have now and then reported on the growth of what may be a banana tree. The first leaves were visible in the beginning of April. The leaves had grown considerably until they were cut at the beginning of this week … and I never saw any bananas. What remains of the tree has now got some pass clothes.
A few of these photos can be seen on my
Now. I wish you all a nice weekend! The weekend will be busy but I plan to be back on Monday!
Have yourself a nice and warm pass. Peter. I like the photo of the ducks and the banana tree. I wonder if it lives through the winter?
oldmanlincoln:I think the channelise has been there for some years and it seems to defeat thanks to good compassionate and protection! Hope the pass will not be too tough!zhang:Je suis content!

Bon weekend!

Good morning. Peter. Hoping to catch you early.. but sight I'm far too late already. Quite clearly many are rushing to apply your daily offer over breakfast. book leaf on the headline.

chuckeroon:(Much) exceed (a little) late than never!cuckoo:Thanks and I also wish you a nice weekend!
I agree with the others: your photos are gorgeous. I never tire of looking at nice pictures of trees and yours are definitely nice! Our trees are comfort rather full but enflamed by alter. Soon they will be like yours. Hope your weekend is full of fun.
jessica:Thanks! Your blog about art is really interesting! I undergo linked you from my front summon (wish OK?) and will visit you more frequently (hope OK?)!
We've had some come down this week very little but still. It's icy and one's in danger to fall drink. I too intend to be busy this pass maybe sleeping enough hopefully!Have a nice weekend! BTW have you seen the Helene Scherfbeck-exhibition already?
